Reopening of the gurdwara sahib

Following the reopening of the Gurdwara Sahib on the 15th of June, below are ADDITIONAL updates / guidelines that come into effect from Monday 22nd of June.

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh

We have updated the guidance and rules that need to be followed when visiting the Gurdwara Sahib as below: 


  • NEW opening and closing for weekdays is now Monday to Friday, 6am to 10am in the morning and 5pm to 7pm in the evening.

  • Weekend opening times are, Saturday and Sunday, 7am to 11am in the morning and 5pm to 7pm in the evening. 

  • Please adhere to the 2 metre social distancing guidelines 

  • No head coverings will be provided. 

  • Please try to bring your own masks / gloves 

  • Normal Prashaad to be served

  • Lifts to be used by 1 person or 1 household only

  • A ONE WAY system in now in operation

  • Please consider doing "Matha Tek" standing up 

  • No food or drink donation to be brought into the Gurdwara Sahib

  • Langar hall will be closed 

  • No chor seva to be carried out by the Sangat 

  • No parkarmaa to be carried out by the Sadh Sangat

Sikh helpline - 50 mile bike ride

The Leamington and Warwick Gurdwara supported the Sikh Helpline 50 Mile Charity Bike Ride event that took place

on the 4th of October 2020.  The Gurdwara Sahib was the midway point for all participants in the bike ride and we were honoured to be able to help and provide participants with refreshments and food. Established over 25 years ago, The Sikh Helpline has developed itself to be a trusted point of contact for members of the community in dealing with a range of issues, especially those linked to cultural and social taboos. Punjabi Lessons

Punjabi lessons take place twice a week on Fridays and Sundays.

Tabla Lessons

Tabla lessons for young children take place Friday evenings.

Kirtan Lessons

Kirtan lessons take place Friday evenings. Please contact the Gurdwara for further information.

Simran and Meditation

There are a number of Simran & Meditation classes / sessions that take place during the week.
